For Metahumans

Setup:

  • Locate the Eye preset (Material Instance) you want to use with your Metahuman from the folders /Game/ZenIris/[Your_pack]/Preset_color or Preset_texture

You can add the preset to your Metahumans eye material slot:

  • In the Outliner select your Metahuman actor, then in the details panel select “Face”
  • Scroll down to materials and assign your selected preset to Element 3 and Element 4

You can also add to you Metahuman Blueprint (preferred method):

  • Open your Metahuman Blueprint and in the Components panel select “Face”
  • In the Details panel to materials and assign your selected preset Element 3 and Element 4

Parameters:

Parameters are almost the same as stock Metahuman eye presets with the following extra parameters:

  • Iris Rotation Enable = Rotate the Iris automatically (spin)
  • Iris Rotation Direction = The direction the Iris auto spins (-1 clockwise, 1+ anti-clockwise)
  • Iris Rotation Speed = Spin speed
  • IrisUseEmissive = Use Emissive controls and internal masks
  • Iris Emissive Strength = Boost or Reduce Emissive iris
  • UseTextureForIris = Use included Color map presets to color the iris
  • IrisColorTexture – Texture map preset for colouring the iris
  • Iris Brightness = Adjust Iris brightness
  • Iris Global Saturation = Iris Saturation control

Note:

Not all parameters are available in every pack.

Tip:

Presets are a little dark by default, use Iris Brightness to boost
